Your photo session starts with a phone or email consultation to determine what kind
of portraits you are interested in. I want to learn about your family's style, and
what kind of session and setting will work best for you.
A typical family session lasts about an hour and we work together to create the
mood and setting you are looking for. We will take all the time we need to allow
your family to feel comfortable and capture your special memories.
Wear comfortable clothes. Clean lines and simple clothing will allow the focus to
remain on the individual, not the clothing. For family portraits, clothing in the
same color range is unifying. Keep in mind that white reflects light easily, so
wear it sparingly. Solid colors, jeans and khaki’s all photograph well. Bare feet
are a classic element. Busy prints can complicate photos and logos may make your
photos appear dated.
Please feel free to bring along a change of clothing for more variety in your portraits.

with your portraits!
